Zonte had their first narrow intersect last June, so 13 months puts us into July 2020 and Zonte should be reported lots of drill results in that period.

I am sure ZON will not follow GBR exactly but so far it is on a similar path, see the stock chart in the GBR Post

who knows,after 13 months, ZON could even go higher than GBR did at $3.

GB had a look at Great Bear post, you might be on to something.

If Zonte raises more $$ and continues drilling all winter we could see a good flow of drill news during the first half of 2020, which would fit your time frame. We just have to get the drill numbers. Go Terry go!!

DJ, copper matters but let us not forget from the one drill hit so far, there is a lot more precious metals than copper.


The intersect in hole 4 was 14% copper 15.8 g/t Au and 352 g/t Ag over 0.43m.

Copper at $2.68 per pound, Gold $1455 Silver $16.90

I calculate one ton of rock has $750.40 of copper $810.90 of gold and $209.83 of silver

With the Fed and QE, precious metals will do better still

“The copper concentrate market is in a tight state and it will get even tighter next year,” Nicholas Snowdon, an analyst at Deutsche Bank AG, said at the Asia Copper Conference in Shanghai. That “raises the risk around potential supply response, particularly on the private smelting side in China.”

While the falling processing fees aren’t affecting prices today, they serve as a reminder of the mining industry’s poor record in hitting production targets and bringing new supply online. Figures from the International Copper Study Group show mine supply dropped by about 0.5% in the eight months through August. Miners say higher prices will be needed to stimulate output and avert a deficit as demand swells in future years.

Consumption could grow 2% a year until 2030, which means an additional 7 million tons of refined copper supply will be needed, Anglo American Plc’s chief executive for base metals Ruben Fernandes said during the Shanghai conference. He said that should help offset broader macro pressures that have kept copper prices pegged back at an average of just over $6,000 a ton this year.
