Again, the B2Gold decision to sell would motivate them to get rid of this cloud from Zonte over the Gramalote site, one would think. Any potential buyers doing due diligence would learn about it.

Maybe Anglogold Ashanti would be the buyer. They would use it to get the price down. If one learned somehow that they were doing that, that could be publicized to the public as an admission that they see it is a real problem for the site.

My apologies for the delay in responding, but I wanted to run this query by our Legal department.

We’ve had legal advice from the operator (AngloGold Ashanti) of our JV Gramalote project, and believe the contents of the article is without merit.

WRT(With Regard To) your other query, please refer to the following excerpts, which can be found in the attached News Release (our most recent one, re: our Q3 2016 Earnings):

“As a result, the Company has commenced a process to consider offers for the sale of the Gramalote Joint Venture development project in Colombia, along with a process to restructure its 51% interest in the joint operations in Nicaragua with Calibre Mining Corp.”

“The Company would like to confirm that it is progressing with the process to consider offers for the sale of its 49% interest in the Gramalote Joint Venture development project in Colombia and that it is not considering selling its Nicaraguan assets at this time.”

Flynn, The news release today included this.

"As press released on May 2, 2016, Zonte and a Colombian partner, (collectively Zonte or the Company) are proceeding with legal action against the Secretaria de Minas (Secretary of Mines) for the Department of Antioquia, Colombia for not titling an exploration application."

That is a government agency in a department of Colombia.

I haven't seen a news release from Zonte that they are going to sue the government, Right?
