SYG's focus is their Niaouleni Gold Project and includes extensive artisanal mining activity within the interpreted extensions of gold bearing structures which host the 3 million ounce and growing Kobada Deposit. In the past few years, historic drilling and SYG has been intersecting high grade gold over significant widths in dozens and dozens of drill holes. I have no doubt they are on to a major gold discovery. The property is contiguously south of Toubani Resources’ (formerly African Gold Group) Kobada development project. The politically stable region of Southern Mali is home to a growing number of gold producers including Endeavour Mining, Barrick, AngloGold Ashanti and Resolute Mining.

SYG's management group has already had success in this area, selling off two discoveries and now have discovered their 3rd one. The group has been active in the area for about 17 years, the previous iterations were Jilby gold which discovered the Bissa hill deposit (sold to High River Gold and subsequently Nordgold) and then Merrex Gold which discovered the Siribaya/Diakha deposits (sold to Iamgold). Then Roscan which they passed on to other management to focus on their Niaouleni project. Roscan's Kandiole project is roughly a million ounces now and rapidly expanding.
