Flynn, that is exactly why, computer bots constantly scan the market looking for low cap penny stocks that seen a big up move in price, because they now that in most cases short selling can manipulate the price down.

It has become rampant since the down tic rule was removed, Previously a stock could not be shorted if the price was on a down tic during the day. Now shorts can just keep selling and drive the price down all day long

Short reports only reveal honest traders.

market makers don't have to report shorts under the short exemption rule.

The other trick is there is 3 days to settle a trade so many traders or market makers, computer bots will short a stock and cover the same day or next, so they don,t have to report a short position. They will even make a wash trades with their short buddies during the 3 day period to avoid reporting

why would u short this stock? low float. plus this last 3 weeks have been the only good daily volume in 4 years.

Shorty is in trouble, I see they are now using Jitney to move short positions around and called help from Instinet that sold 100,000 shares and has never bought in this market.

Jitney has sold over 100,000 and bought back 65,000 all for no gain or loss

ZONTE METALS CLOSES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Zonte Metals Inc. has closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement offering of units. The company issued 13.5 million units at a price of 10 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $1.35-million. Each Unit consists of one common share and one-half ( one-half) of one share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to acquire one additional common share upon payment of the exercise price of $0.18 on or before July 31, 2018. The Company intends to use the proceeds of the Offering for working capital purposes.

looks like another good day up and over 500,000 volume already

Does not copy and paste well, but TD has bought 1,273,170 and Scotia 588,500.

The biggest sellers in order are the retail houses TD, RBC and CIBC. Scotia has sold little.

The other seller of size is Anonymous selling 606,000 but lately this looks like shorting as they have been buying back when they get squeezed, just last couple days they bought back about 200,000

Stock up this morning, again TD and Scotia buying

I think there has been profit taking on the way up but something much better is going on. Almost all the buying is coming through TD and Scotia, there is a new power group moving into this stock and they are just taking what ever the sellers throw at them.

Until there bellies fill up, this will keep going higher. Hoss's 30s and 40s is looking pretty realistic.

I am just holding long term, we know how this stock can move when selling dries up, a lot of strong long term holders in this stock and I think they are going to be rewarded big time.

The junior market is coming back, just not ZON, I have some others in my bag showing life again
