wonder how this will affect zonte, could CIMA be the winner again of the contest ?

energyandgold.com/2019/08/19/bob-moriart...-a-good-place-to-be/

Goldfinger: Let’s conclude with your thoughts on the broader market and where gold is at right now. We’ve had a $250 rally in gold since the end of May and I know that you think gold is due for a correction.

Bob Moriarty: I am on record that I believe the stock market will enter into a liquidity crunch in September and then there will be a full-fledged crash in October. This liquidity crunch will also take the gold stocks down with it as the margin clerks will sell what they can to meet the margin calls that are coming. This is a really good time to be sitting in cash and putting in stink bids on the low hanging fruit.

Goldfinger: How much cash would you recommend people have right now? 50% cash?

Bob Moriarty: I can’t say because everyone is different. However, I do know those who will be able to take advantage of the opportunities that are coming in October can make fortunes.

the prize from RonS
That is the excitement of junior exploration, one drill hole can completely change a company.I will also offer the same reward for this year contest, one year added to your newsletter subscription or $150 dinner voucher for life timers.Rules are simple, whoever is closest to the highest trade printed on the ticker in 2019.

the reason why RonS has a $6.50 target in 2019
My optimistic guess is $6.50 for the high, probably no better than any ones prediction but here is my reasoning.
It is hard to imagine a better mining market and higher gold prices after what we have just been through in 2018, but often the market improves after such a downturn and I believe we will see gold prices in the $1300 to $1500 range in 2019 when it becomes more evident the Fed will have to ease again or at least halt the tightening cycle.

I have been to Cross Hills and looked a lot into these IOCG systems and I am convinced there will be a discovery. Pasta mentioned just some magnetic surveys and normally that is not such a big deal but in IOCG it is. Iron Oxide is iron, it is magnetic so responds well to these surveys, not so in other systems.

The iron oxide veins on surface are magnetic, I used a magnet myself, a very simple principle. On surface they carry copper, that is what makes these deposits valuable compared to just an iron ore deposit. The magnet surveys show strong magnetic intensity deeper below the surface, it is a no-brainer that the iron oxide is concentrated down deeper and like the surface showing has copper.

And veining above is very typical of these systems. There is very little experience and knowledge about these in Canada and is probably the main reason Zonte is overlooked thus far. There is no doubt in my mind that this will be a discovery with iron, copper and some PMs, the question is the grade?

After some drill holes and we have an average grade of say 0.25% copper, it still might be economic, but will not get much love. If the grade is .3 to .35% that we see in many other copper deposits, this is going to get some serious attention.

IOCGs are known for better grades in general and if this turns out to be 0.5% to 1% copper it is going to be a whopper. And OMG if it is above 1%. Don't forget unlike porphyry systems where the other 99% of the rock is waste, in an IOCG, the 20% to 40% that is typical iron oxide also has value, it is not waste rock. There should be silver and gold credits as well.

It seems $5 is kind of a top speculative target with many juniors like we saw with Garibaldi. That said, with higher gold prices, I believe the pressure will intensify on Anglo to settle with Zonte in 2019 so they can move Gramalote to production.
Given not so great a market, it is still a $50 to $100 million settlement which is another $1 to $2 per share, hence when added to $5 my $6.50 guess!!!!!!!!!

I just forwarded Katie the same question again, she's supposed to get back to me shortly,i'm very curious if she will, let's wait and see,as a shareholder of BTO,i deserve an answer.

Hi Katie,

I did more research and I remain even more puzzled,

I looked into this with some depth and upon the revelation in AngloGold's pre-feasibility about Zonte's claim block as risk.

thevault.exchange/?get_group_doc=143/151...erveforGramalote.pdf

On or about page 8 under 1.5 Legal Aspects and Permitting. I quote below:

""Gramalote has 17 Land Restitution Proceedings and although the risk is low the legal processes could hinder or delay some activities. To the date of this report, the legal proceeding that was filed by a third party (Natalia Nohaba Vallejo) against the administrative act issued by the Mining Authority (Antioquia Secretary of Mines) is underway. The Mining Authority (Antioquia Secretary of Mines) did not grant to third parties mining rights requested over some “corridors” existing within Mining Title 14292 area, which title holder is Gramalote. It is worth noting that the “corridors” arise from graphic defects of the Mining National Cadastre. Gramalote requested to become a party of the judicial proceeding abovementioned and recently it was accepted as such. With this, Gramalote will be able to support the legal and technical thesis stated by the Mining Authority (Antioquia Secretary of Mines) throughout the proceeding. Gramalote ́s legal counsel undertook a risk assessment categorizing the risk of potential impact to the Project, as low. If the legal precedent maintains, the status quo of the mining area should maintain as well. The “corridors” or graphic defects of the National Mining Cadastre are not considered as free areas, and in case they should be considered a free area, Gramalote would have a first right in time as it is the first applicant. ""

The third party is Zonte's partners. There is precedent in Colombia where Galway Resources -GWY- was awarded fractional claims from 'the graphic defects of the Mining National Cadastre.' It is my understanding that these are not defects but miners must use the National Cadastre when staking claims in Colombia to avoid the problems that now face Anglo. It is also worth noting that Zonte's legal council is the former minister of mining in Colombia and as such is well versed in the local laws.

Anglo advised you that Zonte's claim is without merit, but their public documents admit it is risk, even though it is stated as 'low risk'.

My other concern as a B2Gold shareholder is CEO,Clive Johnson has been talking up Gramalote publicly on BNN TV, but the company has not revealed in any public documents the about the risk. Depending what happens,it could expose B2Gold to class action lawsuits ?

timing the market is extremely hard, you were wise to keep your shares, and always remember this flynn,it might be useful for you,

“It never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It always was my sitting. Got that? My sitting tight! It is no trick at all to be right on the market. You always find lots of early bulls in bull markets and early bears in bear markets. I’ve known many men who were right at exactly the right time, and began buying or selling stocks when prices were at the very level which should show the greatest profit. And their experience invariably matched mine–that is, they made no real money out of it. Men who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon.”
